Analog, a groundbreaking Layer-0 protocol for cross-chain communication and a data provider for Web3, has officially introduced its highly anticipated incentivized testnet. This milestone signifies Analog’s commitment to enabling true interoperability among different blockchain networks, empowering developers to create decentralized applications (dApps) using a wide array of tools.
Analog’s product suite includes Analog Watch, an extensive indexing and query protocol that simplifies access to Web3 data through a GraphQL endpoint. Developers can streamline their workflow by using the open-source Watch SDK or the hosted Watch Portal. Analog GMP (General Message Passing) is a permissionless communication layer that allows dApps to exchange messages across various blockchains, facilitating seamless interaction.
The Timechain, an immutable ledger at the core of the Analog network, combines Nominated Proof-of-Stake (NPoS) and Proof-of-Time (PoT) protocols to ensure robust security, decentralization, and scalability. The incentivized testnet offers developers, enthusiasts, and node operators the opportunity to earn rewards while actively contributing to the growth and progress of the Analog platform.
Shaping the Future of Web3
Analog has reserved a minimum of 2% of its total $ANLOG token supply for all participants in the testnet. The testnet rollout is being conducted in phases to ensure a smooth and productive experience. Developers started participating on April 16th, with the wider community joining at the end of April. Phase 3 will soon be open for validators, and all three phases will run concurrently until the end of July.
Throughout all phases, participants can earn Analog Token Points (ATPs) by completing various tasks, such as testing core functionalities, providing feedback, and taking part in community-driven events like the Watch Game. The Watch Game allows community members to explore and vote on Views created by developers, highlighting collaboration and innovation within Analog’s ecosystem.
Victor Young, CEO/Founder of Analog, stated, “We believe that creating a truly interoperable cross-chain ecosystem requires insights and contributions from everyone. Our Incentivized Testnet empowers individuals to test our tools, share their perspectives, and earn rewards as they assist us in building the most user-friendly and powerful cross-chain data platform.”
Analog is committed to advancing omni-chain interoperability within the blockchain industry. As a unique Layer-0 blockchain for event data in Web3, driven by its own Proof-of-Time consensus mechanism, Analog’s suite of protocols aims to simplify access to information and promote seamless cross-chain communication.
The incentivized testnet is expected to play a vital role in collecting feedback, enhancing platform functionality, and preparing Analog for its mainnet launch. Participants are encouraged to join and contribute to this innovative initiative, shaping the future of cross-chain communication and decentralized applications.
