This program aims to enrich the Cronos community and provide incentives for early contributors based on their involvement in both the mainnet and testnet environments.
**Announcing the Pioneer Program: A Reward System for Cronos zkEVM’s Early Adopters**
Prior to the anticipated mainnet launch of Cronos zkEVM, the platform has introduced the Pioneer Program. The launch is slated for the third quarter of the current year. In the coming weeks, the project will reveal various phases that incorporate a range of social and community-centric challenges. These challenges are designed to offer users the opportunity to earn loyalty points as they acquaint themselves with the services and functionalities rooted in Cronos zkEVM.
Subsequently, users will be eligible to redeem points by engaging with the decentralized applications within the ecosystem. Active participation in these dApps is expected to yield additional token rewards and other benefits for point holders. These supplementary rewards will be distributed in CRO, the native token of Cronos zkEVM, as well as in native dapp currencies.
This innovative approach enables users to cultivate three distinct layers of yield for digital assets like CRO. The primary layer is the staking yield, which the platform inherently offers for holding zkCRO and other liquid-staked tokens. The second layer is the DeFi yield, generated by various DeFi protocols within the ecosystem.
The third layer is an extra yield that stems from active dapp engagement. Ken Timsit of Cronos Labs has expressed his enthusiasm for the mainnet launch of Cronos zkEVM, a milestone eagerly anticipated by the community. **Launching the Pioneer Program with the Cronos zkEVM Passage Campaign**
In conjunction with the initiation of the Pioneer Program, the platform has launched the Cronos zkEVM Passage campaign, in partnership with Veno Finance. This campaign commences on July 4th and will continue until the mainnet goes live. Users can accrue points by staking and locking CRO tokens into specific bridge contracts powered by Veno on the Ethereum network.
