Stream has entered into a fresh collaboration with Azarus, a leading Web3 layer that provides game streaming services. The aim is to bring together the communities of streaming and gaming. Azarus functions as an open platform that offers interactive, live, and open digital experiences to enhance content engagement.
The partnership between Stream and Azarus focuses on expanding interactive experiences beyond Twitch. By connecting different streaming networks, the platform aims to deepen user engagement with their audience. Animoca Brands recently acquired Azarus, further expanding the Metaverse streaming experience. The collaboration will leverage Stream’s capabilities to create dynamic community-driven content.
The strategic collaboration is expected to offer comprehensive interactive experiences and facilitate meaningful interaction between consumers and content creators. Azarus has a strong presence on major Twitch streams, including game releases like Assassin’s Creed, Esports competitions such as Capcom Pro Tour, and events like the Streammer Awards. With nearly 500,000 simultaneous players engaged in these activities, Azarus works as a key partner on Twitch.
The partnership with Stream will enhance the platform’s capabilities, connecting streaming networks and providing a solid foundation for interactive streams. By onboarding more streamers and creating a broad audience network, the collaboration will unlock new opportunities for rewards and community engagement. Azarus’ founder and CEO, Alex Casassovici, believes that this initiative will bring to life the vision of a distributed, permissionless, and open approach to developing interactive stream content.
